We have another special for you this week. This time its all about the mother land of rhythms. Music from Africa – not that kind you would label “world music” – club music!

There´s lots of different styles to discover and I´m far from being an expert. So let me just play tunes I like and I hope you like them, too. First half of the show is about Bongo Flava. It seems that this is the east african answer to Dancehall, Hip Hop and R&B. Sounds a little like Reggaeton :) Its origins are in Tanzania but over the years it also became very popular in Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria and other african countrys. In the second half the show becomes more clubby. Afrobeats, Afro House and lots of Azonto – the current hype dance from Ghana.
